Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is training for his return to the ring currently in Los Angeles —teams up with visionary artist Reen Barrera and his long time creative studio partners MINDstyle for the highly anticipated Manny Pacquiao and Heavyweight art toy. This release reimagines Barrera’s wood-carved aesthetic style in vinyl, blending Pacquiao’s fighting legacy with true Filipino artistry.
This creative project was put together by Manny’s wife, Jinkee Pacquiao even before news of Manny’s historic championship fight. The collaboration reflects a dual celebration: Pacquiao’s boxing legacy and Barrera’s artistic journey from crafting childhood toys to global acclaim.
The figure immortalizes Pacquiao mid-action, fists raised in his iconic ready-to-fight stance, with loyal companion Pac-Man the dog by his side—a nod to the champ’s personal life. While staying faithful to Barrera’s rustic style, the vinyl finish uses muted earthy tones and subtle wood-grain textures to evoke handcrafted warmth. Barrera’s folk-art flair shines through playful details: abstract geometric patterns frame Pacquiao’s focused expression, and delicate floral motifs add a touch of whimsy.
These two boxing “art toy collectibles” – Heavyweight and Manny Pacquiao will be released in Manila this weekend. Fans and collectors will have the opportunity to pickup the set this Saturday, July 5th starting 3:00PM at BAIT located in the Opus Mall, 2nd floor; and also on Sunday, July 6th at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia from 3:00PM as part of the Manila Sneaker & Streetwear Expo 16.
