On Friday, shortly after the game’s launch, it didn’t take long for a group of players to band together to discover Liberty Falls’ Easter Eggs. Now, gamers are solving things for themselves and having a blast. Specifically, becoming a supervillain via Aetherella’s figures.

You Can Go Full Homelander In Liberty Falls

As first spotted by a Call of Duty fan account, via a Liberty Falls Easter Egg, you can literally turn into Aetherella. Doing so gives the player a timed window where they are not only invincible, but can laser Zombies to absolute shreds.

Of course, like any Easter Egg in COD Zombies, there are quite a few steps that must be taken to experience the full effect. As this YouTube channel guide outlines, you’ll have to craft the Jet Gun, then find all the Aetherella action figures spread out across the map. In total, there are nine, and only then can you transform into the supervillain.

The end result is basically Homelander from The Boys in COD’s iconic Zombies mode. You can hover around spamming laser beams at hordes of Zombies. In true Zombies fashion, it’s silly in all the best ways.

It also has the potential to make things easier, provided you play your cards right. As this Redditor noted, Aetherella can be used in the boss fight, helping make things easier. Another Redditor pointed out how it can be used to make the exfil process simpler, meaning this supervillain has some utility beyond the novelty of lasers.
